Join us for a special Business Sisters networking event at LeClair Manor, a historical property in North Lancaster, ON, recently acquired and gradually being restored by our host, Carolyn.

About our Host, Carolyn

Like a cat, Carolyn has had many lives! From broadcast journalist and juice bar café owner to senior communications/marketing roles in the charitable and healthcare sectors, she has always strived to make a real difference in the world.

A few years ago, she finally listened to her soul’s true calling stepping away from her corporate career into the world of personal and spiritual wellness. She re-birthed her communications/PR consultancy business and now solely supports conscious enterprises and individuals through one-on-one consultation, and by creating workshops/retreats and larger community events.

Two years ago, she found her dream house in the country and for the last two years she has been slowly turning The Manor—as it’s affectionately called!— into a space to host workshops/retreats and community events.

She is also a proud mama of two beautiful, smart, and self-realized girls—her greatest accomplishments!

Carolyn will give us a tour of the property and share stories about this stately old home, which she offers on AirBNB as a site for retreats, girls' weekends and other private events. This is a great opportunity to support a new local business owner and spread the word about her place.

You will also have plenty of time to mingle with other Business Sisters and chat about your own ventures while exploring the house, taking in the magnificent garden or hanging around on the porch!

The ticket price includes a delicious charcuterie box, one glass of wine or beer or unlimited mocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. Plus, you can win some amazing door prizes, including gift certificates from Business Sisters and goodies from our title partners at Desjardins.

• This networking event is open to anyone who owns or operates a business or wishes to work with women, entrepreneurs, with a special invitation to business owners from rural areas and small towns throughout eastern Ontario and beyond.
