Where:
May means it’s finally patio weather, and we are so ready for it! To celebrate the arrival of the warmer weather, we will be visiting Prescott-Russell’s eastern corner and gathering on the beautiful patio of the MNP office on McGill Street in Hawkesbury. So, mark your calendars for Tuesday, May 30, and come meet our event sponsor and co-host, Manon Forget, Partner at MNP, along with her team and lots of new and familiar Business Sisters.
Rain or shine, the upper-floor, cover patio of the MNP office is the perfect spot for our monthly networking reception. You will enjoy a tasty box of gourmet finger foods, created by personal chef Marie-Eve Lavoie, of La cuisine passionnée. Desserts will be provided by Lorraine Auclair of Gâteaux Lila Cakes, also based in the Hawkesbury area. In addition, your ticket entitles you to unlimited mocktails, non-alcoholic wine or beer, and flavoured mineral waters.
As one of Canada’s leading professional services firms, MNP offers accounting, tax and business consulting services to individuals, small business, and non-profits. They have been in business since 1958, and the Hawkesbury office is under the MNP banner since 2021. We are delighted to be welcoming Manon and her MNPcolleagues as partners for this networking event!
It is customary for all our “5 à 7” events that participants will be treated to a draw for fun door prizes. This includes branded items from Desjardins, Business Sisters’ title partner, along with other surprises from Hawkesbury-area businesses.
The official photographer for the evening will be Jan Amell of Vankleek Hill. Our community loves to see what we are up to each month (see the March 2023 album here on Facebook). Maybe we’ll tag you and your business in the process, so thank you in advance for posing. We may also use photos in other social media posts and on this website.
We’re big on inclusivity. This means this event, like most of the gatherings we organize, is open to anyone who owns or operates a business or wishes to work with women entrepreneurs. Plus, allies (that’s you, dear gents!) are always welcome.
Finally we wish to recognize the Prescott-Russell Community Development Corporation who is also graciously supporting this event.
