Business Sisters Networking - September 19, 2023

We’re kicking off the fall networking season with a visit to the Lunan family’s Marlin Orchards & Garden Centre.

Diane and her daughter Alexandra will welcome us to their beautiful store, stocked full of household items, from flags and aprons, to kitchen gadgets and gardening accessories. And of course apples!

We’ll be inside but, fingers crossed, the warmth of the sun will still be with us, making this a perfect evening for you to come mingle with Business Sisters!

About Our Hosts

Founded by Susan's mom and Dad, Ann and Bill, this multi-generation family business has been a stalwart of the South Glengarry horticultural scene in South Glengarry since 1964. Their beautiful property is perched on a hill, overlooking the St-Lawrence. Starting as an apple growing operation, it gradually expanded with greenhouses, along with apiaries, pumpkin and gourd patches, growing into a full-service, destination Garden Centre , complete with a home décor and giftware store. We will be serving fresh, tasty local treats in a box so that you can mill around. Your ticket also includes your choice of mocktails, sober cider or other alcohol-free drinks.

Door prizes include gift certificates and and baskets of local products.

There will be photos taken, and please keep in mind we reserve the right to use those in social media posts and on our website.

We aim to be inclusive, so this event is open to anyone who owns or operates a business or wishes to work with women entrepreneurs. Allies are always welcome.
