Golf Clinic & Networking - July 18, 2023

Summertime means outdoor activity and what a better way to network than to GOLF! A sport which can be intimidating to learn, and that’s why we invite you to this very special practice opportunity with women professional golfers.

About the Golf Clinic

For this event Business Sisters is working closely with the wonderful team at Casselview Golf Club, a Casselman business co-owned by Justine Blouin and her husband. The afternoon will begin at 14:30 sharp, with three practice stations for 12 golfers each (total 36 spots). For 45 minutes, each professional instructor will offer tips on your grip and stance, while you get to practice. One will teach the clinic on driving, the other on chipping and the third on putting. When we ring the bell, golfers move to the next station, and we’ll do this for three rounds!

Whether you are a seasoned golfer or a complete newbie, this is an opportunity to have 2 ½ hours of fun with your Business Sisters, while learning more about a sport that often offers business networking opportunities. This is a great opportunity to build your game confidence in a supportive environment.

About the Networking Event

After the clinics, at 17:00, groups will return to the Club House for refreshing drinks and hors d’oeuvres, and more Business Sisters can join each.

There are two types of tickets:

1) one for the 5 à 7 only (at $40 + tax for reception food and one drink of your choice) or

2) another for the clinics AND the 5 à 7 (2 ½ hours of instruction plus reception food and one drink of your choice for $80 + tax). The latter tickets are limited to 36 spots.

Water and non-alcoholic beverages are at no extra charge. We thank you in advance for consuming responsibly.

Door Prizes, Photos and Other Details

We always have door prizes, and this event is no exception. There will be a golf gift bag from our friends and title partners at Desjardins, plus a few other surprises. This event is rain or shine! (But we are really, really hoping for sun!). We won’t be out there if it’s thundering, but a little rain won’t stop us. Bring a change of clothes if you wish, but this event is going to be casual, hat hair and all!

We aim to be inclusive, so this event is open to anyone who owns or operates a business or wishes to work with women entrepreneurs. Allies are always welcome.
