Where:
This online networking event aims to bring together women and women-identifying/non-binary business owners, with a special invitation to entrepreneurs from rural areas and small towns in Eastern Ontario.
Through a structured networking format, we encourage information exchange and focus on problem-solving. The idea is not to HUSTLE and push a product or service; this is not a place for elevator pitches! It’s about interacting in a genuine and helpful way. A much better way of networking!
The theme this month will focus on successfully navigating the different roles in our professional and personal lives or “wearing different hats”. Sometimes these are roles (or hats) we do want. Sometimes these hats are thrust upon us by others, or by social norms. Other roles may even be of our own making… Could it be we have too many hats in our imaginary closet?
We’ll exchange views and real-life research data about the roles that confront women business owners. What are some resilience practices? How do we manage roles effectively so that we feel good in what we do?
Be prepared to be interacting with other Business Sisters in small groups so you can get to know new people!
The event is free to current business owners, or those in startup mode.
If you are a professional employed by an organization that caters to business owners and this represents a business development opportunity for you, we ask that you consider making a donation.
Looking forward to seeing you online!
